Opportunity Description: We’re looking for an enthusiastic intern to help with promoting our event to local, national and international celebrities (athletes, actors, singers etc.) for the Canadian Mental Health Association’s Simon Fraser Branch First Annual Run and Walk Event. Be part of history in the making! Tasks and Responsibilities - Research, contact and solicit local, national and international celebrities or their managers for promotion and awareness of the run and CMHA activities—requesting appearance, in kind donations (concert tickets, CDs etc.) for our event. Skills Required - Excellent Communication skills in English (written and verbal) - Willing to learn about fundraising / promotion strategies and mental health issues - Good initiative and commitment - Able to work in a team, as well as individually
